Deborah Patterson Deborah's extensive knowledge and love of Italian art, culture, and language comes from having lived in Italy for many years. With an undergraduate degree in art history and after studying art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia, Deborah moved to a small town in the mountains outside of Florence where she painted, wrote, and taught art. During this time, she also served as liaison for sister cities, Florence and Philadelphia. Later, she received a master's degree in religion and the arts from Yale University. An accomplished painter, scholar, and teacher of Italian language, her presence as the official guide for Italian Gusto makes for a unique experience not to be found on any other tour. |
